Asking if you’re ready to be a parent is a big question. But is anyone truly ready to parent? Every child is unique, just like every parenting situation. No one but you can decide if you are ready.

You might be surprised at the assistance available to help you parent successfully. Community resources and our services provide you with material items, education, and confidence.

Parenting Classes
New Beginnings offers these parenting class options:
Earn While You Learn (E.W.Y.L.)
If you are pregnant or parenting a child ages birth to 3 years old, attend parenting classes* and earn a crib, car seat, stroller, or other large items for your child.

Individual Parenting Classes
This program seeks to educate parents on an individual/couple basis in positive parenting strategies and skills. It’s open to anyone who is pregnant or parenting a child from birth to 3 years old.
Monday and Wednesday Class: (Childcare nOT available)
Classes start at 2:00 pm
Tuesday Class: (Childcare available)
Spring, Summer, and Fall Semester in-person classes available. Call for class schedule. Classes start at 11:00 am.
**New Beginnings does not do assessments.
Referrals
Our center is happy to provide referrals to social services, housing, and other agencies.
Material Needs
New Beginnings provides many items that a family may need to care for their children. These items include, but are not limited to, formula, diapers, wipes, baby clothing, and maternity clothing.
